At VAURA Pilates, our trainers are the heartbeat of the brand. They shape not just the workout, but the entire 360° experience; from the programming, to the music, the lighting, and the energy that builds across every 50-minute class.
This year, we’re spotlighting the trainers our members show up for. The early-morning motivators, the weekend warriorsm the ones filling back-to-back sold-out classes. We’ll tell their stories; where they started, how the’ve grown and where they’re headed.
Because at VAURA, we’re more than a workout. We’re a fully immersive, sensory-driven experience… and our expert trainers are always in the driver’s seat.
MEET THE TRAINERS
TARA BETHUNE, VAURA UES
Tara is a high-energy trainer at VAURA UES and self-proclaimed “ultimate cheerleader” who believes in working hard but finding the joy in the sweat. She sees the time that clients spend in her class as a dedicated opportunity to pour back into themselves, so she “plays no games” when it comes to effort.
She’ll hold you accountable whether you walk in at 100% or 4% battery. Driven by the belief that we only have one life to live, Tara’s classes are inspired by killer, eclectic playlists and a healthy dose of humor to keep the vibes light. Her ultimate goal is simple: create a space within the VAURA studio where members put in the maximum effort, get hands-on coaching, and have the absolute most fun doing it.
EDWINA MUMBY, VAURA SYDNEY
Edwina has been a dedicated VAURA trainer at our Sydney studios for nearly five years. She was originally drawn to teaching after experiencing the VAURA studio as her ultimate safe haven, a place where she could lie on the carriage and feel all her worries disappear. Driven by a deep desire to give back to the community that made her feel like family, she loves helping people get stronger and conquer their fears.
Edwina views movement as a source of calmness and clarity, even when she’s challenging herself in her own intense workouts. In her classes, she wants members to completely forget their daily problems for 50 minutes and push their boundaries. By constantly challenging our members, she hopes they walk away humbled by the practice but deeply empowered, realizing that the sky is the limit and absolutely anything is possible.
ASHLEY TATE, VAURA MUELLER
Ashley is a Head Trainer at VAURA Mueller who balances the studio with running her own Influencer Marketing agency. A lifelong athlete who followed her older sisters into sports, she pivoted to Pilates after an autoimmune condition caused her joint pain, falling in love with how it helped her get out of her head and into her body.
Craving connection while living away from home, she found her ultimate community here at VAURA. Now, she’s driven by helping members move safely, heavily prioritizing proper form while promising a serious, “”burning burn”” in her workouts. With changing lights and great music, Ashley brings the heat to make every VAURA class feel like an absolute party.
DREW FOSTER, VAURA SYDNEY
Drew started his VAURA journey as a brand-new client at our Sydney studios, and worked his way up to the VAURA studio ‘stage’, making his role as a trainer a deeply personal accomplishment. A lifelong athlete who always viewed movement as something to enjoy rather than a chore, he was drawn to teaching by the creative side of
Drew thrives on the flow, composition, and careful layering of a workout. He loves the magic of curating a perfect vibe, living for those moments when the music, lights, and movement all come together “”like that little present with the bow””. Ultimately, the practice brings him peace, and his biggest goal is to help VAURA members realize that life isn’t that serious; to just enjoy the music, get a great workout, and stop being so hard on yourself.
